Parents' Café

The Parents Café is an initiative of our school, and these are meetings of parents, of a relaxed nature on issues of upbringing as well as other issues that concern many parents. Parents have the opportunity to get in touch with experts as well as other parents in an open dialogue for the good of their children. The meetings have a participatory and group character to give the opportunity to express all concerns, to ask questions, to exchange views, and to seek answers to the key questions that concern our children.The "Parents' Café" is free and open to the public.Indicatively, café parents who have been organized so far are:

• "Help children overcome their fears. Happy confident kids." The meeting was coordinated by psychologist Andreas Armatas.
• "Communication in the family at a time of crisis" with the author Merope Spyropoulou.
• "A Letter A Story". Children's literature in the digital age of education by the creators of animation Sophia Mantouvalou, Aristarchos Papadaniel.
• Narration of a fairy tale "The Promise", by Anemon Production with theatrologist and actress Efi Vlachogianni.
•  "Learning difficulties – Equal opportunities in education", the presentation was made by the author – educator Nikos Tomaras.
• Interactive meeting "Help children overcome their fears", with the author, clinical psychologist &coach Andreas Armatas.
• WE CONNECT THE GENERATIONS: "Young, old and ... older." The meeting was part of the European program "Active Generation-Connecting Generations", which aims to connect generations in their family, communication, and creative cooperation. In a pleasant and creative atmosphere, we discovered ways of cooperation and interaction of generations, experienced values, and discovered ways to share thoughts and actions ... with our mentors, the members of the association "Values of life in Education".
• "Mathematics in the kitchen". Math activities for children... and their parents with invited the Associate Professor of Mathematical Education of the Department of Education and Early Childhood Education of the University of Athens, Mr. Dimitris Hasapis.
• "Life values for children and parents together" in collaboration with the educators of the Greek association "Values of life in education"
• "Digital Storytelling- ComicLab, a tool for learners and educators", from Its Art
• "I create with my child!" with the author, director, and curator of children's books Stavroula Stamati, the writer and radio producer Sophia Hatzi, and the writer-educator Suzana Louka.
• "What do the children of the apartments read?" with the teacher and writer George Antonakis.
• "We choose books for the cultivation of emotional intelligence". With the author Nikina Sakka-Nikolakopoulou.
• "Parenting Profession? Very easy." With the author Rena Rossi-Zairi.
•  "I know how to say NO" with psychologist and parenting consultant Christina Rasidaki.
• "Seeking the best solutions for the proper nutrition of our children" with guest the nutritionist Mr. Evangelos Zoumpaneas.
• "The needs of our children", with archimandrite Fr. Andreas Konanos, Professor of Theology, as a guest. - "Children's room: a place of development, creation, daydreaming", with guest the parenting consultant Christina Rasidaki.
• "Talking to children about losses", in collaboration with the non-profit company Merimna. The discussion was moderated and coordinated by our guest Mrs. Metallinou Olga, a psychologist with a master's degree in health psychology and a representative of the company "Merimna".
• "I shield my child", with Christina Rasidaki as our guest - psychologist and parenting counselor of our school. - "The most important work of my life... The raising of my child", with our guest Daphne Filippou, psychologist and author of the diary "365 Days Parent".
