The aim of the visual arts course is to cultivate the student as a creator and as an art-loving spectator. In order for the student to come to create, but also to judge, his familiarization with the materials and techniques of the visual arts (pencils, colors, brushes, pastels, wire, clay, collage, engraving, etc.) is preceded by his familiarity with the materials and techniques of the visual arts (pencils, colors, brushes, pastels, wires), as well as with the plastic elements (point, line, shape, color, texture). The lesson is done in an experiential way and in the classroom the creative climate, the cooperation of groups, and the self-motivation of the students are promoted. General:
- The students' critical thinking is cultivated and their self-confidence is strengthened.
- There is respect for the personal growth rate of each child, the way of writing and expressing himself.
- Positive attitude and behavior towards works of art is cultivated. The student comes into contact with visual works of various forms of the visual arts and learns to observe, understand and judge, in order to evaluate and appreciate works of Greek and world heritage.
