Trip to Asia Minor!

On Monday 21/2, the 5th grade students visited the Museum of our neighborhood! A Museum that was the vision of a girl from Asia Minor, Filios Chaidemenou, a Museum of refugees and memories. We felt through the relics the experience of a person who is forced to become a refugee, leaving his place. Leaving behind him home, his loved ones, his dreams... Taking with him what he thought most precious at that moment and many memories in his heart and mind...

We wondered how the next day dawns in the "unknown"?! Many emotions, thoughts and reflections... We traveled back to beautiful Asia Minor, we were impressed with the greatness of Smyrna, we felt sorry for the people who experienced so much pain, we were angry about the suffering that war brings and once again we admired the strength of the human soul, which always manages to be reborn from its ashes.
