A Day at the Museum of Contemporary Art

The 1st High School made an educational and at the same time entertaining visit to the National Museum of Contemporary Art.

We were first welcomed to this state-of-the-art museum and taken to the first floor where they explained the contents as well as the history of the museum. We then went two floors up and the tour guide gave us information and details about the works we were seeing.

We were then given 10 minutes to split into groups of 5 and present our favorite exhibit. After we finished the presentations unfortunately the tour came to an end.

The students could then buy souvenirs so that when they see them in the future they will remember the beautiful experiences they had in this museum. The museum is a real treasure for the art lover, as it presents some of the most important contemporary exhibits of foreign and Greek artists.
