These are meetings with guests who come to our school to deal with children with issues that their kindergarten teachers do not approach. Our students come into contact with a variety of topics related to social life, health, ecology, culture through the eyes of our guests. Previous meetings were "Getting to know the profession of Fireman", "How the dogs of the blind are trained", "Getting to know the Cretan musical instruments", "Children of Africa", "I know the art of the Beekeeper" etc.
With the aim of learning in a fruitful and creative way, a visit is organized per month with school buses in places where educational programs operate and provide children with active participation in knowledge and experiential learning. The topics approached concern history, folklore, art, theatre, ecology, and other interesting areas. Willing our students to go out of school more often, we also take short walks around the school every month. Such walks can be in the post office, in the next-door museum, in the area of the lake of the grove for picnics, etc.
The school promotes students' social awareness through a series of acts of love. Charitable bazaars, adoption of children, love piggy bank, book of good deeds, collection of food, second-hand clothes, the offer of books are some of the actions of infants.
Participation in competitions promotes and strengthens the feeling of sportsmanship and competition, while at the same time the child creates and expresses through art his feelings.
The life of kindergarten is enriched by participation in educational programs of museums, family visits to theatres, musical events, music and visual workshops inside and outside the school, thematic events, family excursions, etc.
Participation in theatrical events, celebrations, and parades enriches school life, cultivates physical expression, and enhances the experiential approach of anniversary and other subjects.
