The life of our school is enriched with events that take place with the participation of children and their families and contribute to the informal and experiential education that we want to cultivate at every opportunity. These events are the best way for students to get involved in celebrations that cultivate values and ideas such as culture, ecology, etc. In addition, during the holidays, parents are involved in the educational process and the use of students' creative inclinations, presenting their work to children and adults.
Students of all classes have the opportunity during the year to participate in celebrations and approach experiential events and other current topics such as ecology, books, topics dealt with during the year in the flexible zone or in some other lesson, presenting only some of what they achieved during the school year.
At the end of the school year, students participating in the lessons of theatrical education, contemporary dance, choir, and orchestra present a complete performance of an adapted theatrical play in a theatrical space outside the School. At Christmas, we organize our charity Bazaar with the participation of teachers, students, and their families. Children and adults prepare this beautiful celebration of the School and spend carefree moments with Christmas mood in the School premises. The classrooms acquire a festive color and are filled with smiles, joy, and creation. Children with the help of their parents and the company of their friends participate in Christmas activities contributing in this way to the charity of Bazaar and filling our hearts with hope for a better tomorrow.

An interesting and original event that takes place in the school is the evening of astronomy. The organization is undertaken by children and amateur Astronomers who carry to the school their particularly remarkable telescopes and help us in the observation of the celestial sphere.That night, young and old, have the opportunity to hear about the latest developments in astronomy, cosmology, and astrophysics narrated by amateurs
At the end of each school year, musical concerts are presented, in which students who attend piano, classical guitar, electric guitar, clarinet, and saxophone lessons during the year. The young musicians play in concerts individually, in duets, and in musical ensembles presenting their progress during the year.
For various reasons, art exhibitions of children's works are held in our school or outside. Most artworks are exhibited on the basis of the theme they belong to, composing an art exhibition that has nothing to envy from a corresponding exhibition of adult artists. The students flaunt and surprise the teachers and their parents with their remarkable works.
Another initiative of the Hatzivei School entitled "Cultural Bike Race" began in 2014. An open event that has been established with the aim of mobilizing children and adults in the daily and safe use of cycling, while at the same time informing the participants of points of cultural interest of our city. Choir and Orchestra FestivalStudents who participate in the school choir and orchestra have the pleasure of participating in children's choir festivals. It is a beautiful experience for children, as they come into contact with their peers with the same interests and present their work in front of a wide audience. Our school organizes the same festival and meetings of children's choirs inviting other children's choirs to an event that highlights the culture and gifts of each one.

School holidays are a good opportunity for students to approach experientially the anniversaries that are celebrated. With poems, narrations, plays, and songs, the students, with the help of their teachers, present the themes of the anniversaries to their classmates and parents.

On the occasion of the worldwide celebration of the 400th anniversary of the assumption of Domenicos Theotokopoulos (1614-2014), the Hatzivei School organized the event "Getting to know El Greco".The event aimed at children, parents, and teachers to come into contact with the life and work of the Greek painter.
