Discoveries in the Forest!

In the activity "Playing in the school of the Forest" we visit the grove next to our school and every time we discover something new to observe! After the snow, we noticed the changes that had happened in the grove and looked for the last traces of snow! We were very excited when the children spotted the last big snowball in the grove and set out to move it. They worked together and figured out how to leverage wood and they did it!Then we discovered a large fallen tree that became a field of experimentation in balance but also an occasion for discussion about the root system of a tree, that is, how it grows, what is hidden beneath, what lives there and our other thoughts.Another day we went out into the grove after the loop, we were looking for mushrooms! We found 2-3 different species and observed their differences. We opened one with a stick and noticed that after a while it changed its color to purple ... what does that mean?

In our walks we observe nature, we make assumptions, we take action, we experiment and we lead to conclusions! But above all we learn to see, explore and think critically!
