European Christmas Tree

We participated again this year in the European Christmas action Europe Direct ELIAMER. We prepared Greek Christmas decorations and exchanged them with various schools in Europe to decorate the "European Christmas Tree" in our yard. A very beautiful opportunity to highlight our culture, to get acquainted with the customs of other countries, but also to develop collaborations with schools in Europe. With the packages that came to us from 31 different schools in Europe, we all made the European Christmas Tree in the school yard. The parcels were distributed to our classes and each section contributed to the decoration of the tree. Our students also started a research and made a separate ball-ornament presenting customs from different European countries.
