Impressive Running Team

A busy day for the running team of the Chatziveis School on Sunday, October 1, 2023. The running movement in Greece is continuously growing, with more and more races taking place! The school's team participated with parents, children, teachers, and alumni who enjoyed it.On Sunday morning, parents participated in the 8th Athens Half Marathon in Marathon, with Melina Chachlaki securing 4th place overall in the women's category and 1st place in her age group. Our school's coach also ran in the 5km race, where he took 1st place in the overall ranking.That same morning, parents and children attended the Race for The Cure, a road race and symbolic walk in the center of Athens, against breast cancer.In the afternoon, children and parents participated in the 11th Popular Road Race on Georgios Apostolakis Street, in our school's neighborhood in Nea Filadelfeia, participating in the Children's race and the 10km race respectively.Our young athletes had the joy of being joined by last year's Greek Marathon Champion Charalambos Pitsiolis and taking photos with him. Parents and children achieved excellent performances!Congratulations to the members of the Running Team for their participation and achievements!
