Sweet Almond Alchemies

In February, our Kindergarteners made delicious almond cupcakes for the almond theme! The young students learned about the nutritional value of the almond and then did another hands-on cooking activity using what else...almonds. We measured, weighed, used new tools and worked together to make our cupcakes. Finally we baked them in our school's oven!
