Another initiative of the Hatzivei School entitled "Cultural Bike Race" began in 2014. An open event that has been established with the aim of mobilizing children and adults in the daily and safe use of cycling, while at the same time informing the participants of points of cultural interest of our city. The event is held with the participation of stakeholders related to cycling, culture, and healthy eating and includes seminars, bike races, competitions, etc.The first event took place on Sunday, April 6, 2014, with the help of the Municipality of Philadelphia-Chalkidona and the Philadelphia Civil Protection Volunteers.
The program included a presentation of the main cultural sites of Philadelphia-Chalcedon, a seminar on safe cycling and cycling. The event ended with a draw of a bicycle and 20 cycling accessories from Gatsoulis stores, t-shirts of the event, offer of Frutop, and t-shirts of Hatzivei School offer of our school!
The end of the bike race took place at the Hatzivei School where the sponsors of the Lacta, Frutop, and Chiquita event offered everyone treats!The 1st cultural Bike Race with the message "I live by bicycle" aimed to mobilize the daily and safe use of the bicycle while at the same time informing visitors of the points of cultural interest of the Municipality of Philadelphia-Chalkidona.
