Excellences

Our teachers, aiming at high-quality education in every cognitive, athletic, artistic and any other activity implemented in the educational program of our school, could not but enjoy the fruits of their labors in terms of results.The students of our school test their abilities, competing with other students, participating in panhellenic competitions and competitions and score significant excellences.In recent years our school has made significant excellences.

• One of our teachers was excelled (2005) in the 1st Panhellenic Microsoft Pioneer Teachers Competition. Award and representation of the country at the European Forum of Pioneer Teachers of Microsoft in Stockholm.
• The students of the sixth grade participated and excelled in the Panhellenic Research and Discovery Competition: "Discovering the natural sciences with simple means and materials" where they won the Special Prize in 2005 and in 2006 they were excelled in the 20 best schools in Greece.
• The students of the 1st grade took the 1st prize in the Bizart painting competition on the occasion of Mother's Day. The students' work was exhibited at The Mall.
• In September 2007, a student of our school, with dance teaching within the framework of the school, succeeded among hundreds of candidates in the entrance exams for the nursery of the State School of Orchestral Art, the only State School of Dance in our country, where she attends until today.
• Award to the Experiential School in the 3rd School Competition "Environment & Recycling" (2009) in the 5th grade for the construction of a board game for the Environment and Recycling.
• Excellence of our students in the Painting Competition of the Museum of Greek Children's Art "Dining with the artists" and exhibition of their works in the permanent collection of the museum.
• Two of our students excelled, in 2nd and 3rd place respectively, in the Panhellenic Student Competition via Internet Lysia (2010).
• A student of the 5th grade was distinguished and awarded (2010) for his painting work in the Panhellenic Painting Competition on "Democracy", at an event held in the Greek Parliament by the President of the Parliament, Mr. Philippos Petsalnikos.

The distinctions of our school in Chess are also important. Specifically:

• For many years our school has been excelled in the Team School Chess Championship. In the years 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2010 it became one of the strongest schools in Attica and secured the qualification for the final phase of the Panhellenic Inter-School Chess Championship.
• In the years 2007-2009 8 of our students qualified for the final phase of the Individual Panhellenic Championship.
• 6 of our students excelled and qualified for the final phase of the School of Attica 2010.
• 2 of our students excelled in the 2010 N. Philadelphia Student Championship.

The graduates of our Primary School, according to the views of the teachers of Junior High Schools where they continue their education, stand out both for their ethos and for their excellent and high education.
