Our teachers participating during the year in seminars, workshops, conferences take care of their continuous training and training giving students the example of "lifelong learning" Some of the seminars/conferences that our teachers have attended are the following:
School Year 2016-17
- 23-14 June 2017, "Global Climate Change Program"-KPE Lavrion, Unesco Event-Our school was represented by the teachers-facilitators of the program Dimitra Giannakopoulou, Areti Thanou, Merope Hatzivei.
- 03-11 July 2017, on the subject: "ICT and Creativity in the Modern School", organized by the Laboratory of Advanced Learning Technologies in Lifelong and Distance Education of the University of Crete. Participating teachers: Areti Thanou, Katerina Katopodi, Katerina Panoutsopoulou, Ioanna Paraskevopoulou, Nasia Tsolka
- May 2017- Conference "Spaces for the child or children's spaces?" held at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with the international participation of educators and architects. Our school was represented by the Director of primary school, Mrs. Merope Hatzivei.
- 31 May - 1 April 2017, an experiential seminar was held by Metechmio Publications on "Creative Writing at school: We learn by playing". The seminar was attended by the teachers of the school Lila Milianitis, Katerina Panoutsopoulou, Ioanna Paraskevopoulou, and Katerina Katopodi.
- 4 and 5 March 2017, a two-day conference was held by Avgoulea Linardatou School on "Cutting-Edge Technologies in Educational Practice". The two-day conference was attended by the school's teacher Katerina Katopodi.
- March 4, 2017, the teacher of the school Ablas Fotini (computer teacher) attended an experiential seminar on "Effective communication with parents" by Pataki Publications with author and psychologist Christina Rasidaki as rapporteur
- 17 and 18 February 2017, the Director of our School, Merope Hatzivei, and the teacher Dimitra Giannakopoulou, participated in the two-day seminar on "Holistic School Approach to Climate Change", to which teachers of the Hellenic Network of Collaborating Schools with UNESCO (ASPnet) were invited.
- 15 and 22 February 2017- Seminar "Body Music" at the Music Library of the Athens Concert Hall. The instructor is the dancer-body musician Thanos Daskalopoulos. The experiential workshop was attended by the school's teachers Maria Pitsini, Ioanna Tsibri, Eleni Patsoule, and Konstantina Tagalaki.
- February 4, 2017, the teachers of the school Pitsini Maria and Tsibri Ioanna (kindergarten teachers) attended the workshop "Games with parents and children" organized by "The School of Nature" in Thessaloniki.
- 23-29 January 2017- Big Bang Academy-40 hours dedicated to creative, innovative learning. Teachers Maria Vatikioti, Stefania Gourna, Evi Kapeli, Veronika Kapotopoulou, Marina Raouzeou, Merope Hatzivei participated.
- On 26 November 2016, the experiential seminar "Creative School: Learning Difficulties" was held by Patakis Publications, with special educators Nikos Tomaras and Maria Psoma as speakers. The seminar was attended by the teachers of the school Konstantina Tagalaki and Katerina Katopodi.
- November 2016-Experiential seminar "Educating with boomwhackers" organized by the D' Directorate of Athens, at the 6th Primary School of Ag. Demetriou. The speaker is the musician of our school Eftychia Tsesmeli.
- 25 November 2016, teacher Ioanna Paraskevopoulou participated in the extremely interesting seminar on Creative Writing on "How writing becomes a pleasure", organized by the National Centre Of Research & Preservation Of School Material.
- On November 12, 2016, the teachers of our school, Abla Fotini, Katerina Panoutsopoulou, and Ioanna Paraskevopoulou attended the experiential seminar entitled "ADIPY-Evaluation, Support Practices, and Intervention Techniques".
- On November 9, 2016, a workshop was held for the program "The child, the city and the monuments" at the town hall of Kotzia Square. The workshop was attended by the teacher Marina Raouzeou.
- On October 10, 2016, teacher Konstantina Tagalaki attended a seminar of the First Directorate of the Athens Regional Council on the subject: "On the occasion of the anniversary of October 28th".
- September 8, 2016-The English teacher of our School Mrs. Dimitra Giannakopoulou and the musician Mrs. Eftychia Tsesmeli were speakers at the workshop on "Teaching English Outside the Box: Innovations and New Approaches in Primary Education". The topic of their presentation was "Music activities for young learners of English" and they presented musical games in English.

We are also proud that our teachers continue on their own initiative to be trained by attending postgraduate programs, annual and one-day seminars in any field they consider to help their educational work.
In the same context, the School organizes in its premises many seminars for the educational staff on issues of psychology, education, and modern education.

- October 10, 2016- "Effective Learning Seminar"-The seminar was held by the remarkable scientific team of Porfyris Yiannis - MEd Psychologist , Veggou Sotiria - MSc Occupational Therapist, Hatzi Kalliopi- MSc Speech Therapist
- 9/9/2014 The teachers of Hatzivei School had the opportunity to attend an extremely interesting seminar on the subject: "Leadership and Communication in school based on Behavioral Types. The seminar was organized in collaboration with Humanasset company with Dimitris Tolis as rapporteur.
- 10/11/2012 The teachers of hatzivei school were present at the first seminar entitled "The whole teacher approach". The seminar was organized in collaboration with Humanasset with Dimitris Tolis as rapporteur
- 6/9/2012 The teachers of Hatzivei school participated in a training seminar on "Providing first aid and dealing with accidents". The presentation was held at the school premises by physical education teachers Corina Lagou and Saja Jean Pierre.
- 17/11/2011, our teachers participated in the experiential seminar entitled "I stand" on the subject of bullying and strategies for dealing with it. Instructor: Counselling Psychologist Christina Rasidaki
