Our School aims at the full cultivation of its students, their mental, spiritual, emotional, and physical development. With the term "health education" we refer to all the preventive movements, knowledge, choices that each child can apply to take care of his health. Health promotion does not expect a physical challenge to appear in order to intervene and heal it, but on the contrary, it takes care of the best possible care and practice of the body in advance, in order to prevent any challenges that lurk. Thus, health promotion works in a long-term way, refers to a diverse range of activities, and is a daily way of life.
Health promotion in our School:
1.The factor of proper nutrition
Proper nutrition is extremely important. According to the principles of proper nutrition, foods should be eaten in their most natural and pure-original form and it is extremely important to avoid any kind of preservative.
2.Lunch diet plan
It is worth mentioning that the lunch program that many of our students choose, has been shaped with the advice of a pediatrician and nutritionist, so that it contains all the necessary elements and vitamins in the right proportion. The fresh homemade food offered to our children is always accompanied by freshly cut salad with different vegetables per season.
3. The factor of physical exertion
The heads of the school's sports department, Mr. Saja Jean-Pierre and Mr. Lagou Korina have formed a comprehensive exercise program that aims primarily at the good physical health and physical endurance of our children. Systematic repetitive proper physical exercise is the best for children's health and creates a good foundation for building healthy lives. Our School has the chance to be bordered by the grove of N.Philadelphia and the children have the opportunity to come into contact with the precious space of the grove at least twice a day during their breaks and third time a day when their program includes Gymnastics.
4. The inner joy
Inner joy, peace, optimism and hope hold vital for our lives, our physical, mental and spiritual health. Our School embraces these virtues and includes them in the basic goals of education to each student.
5. Continuous information through the program of cultural meetings.
