Always according to the principle that a child can be taught almost anything, as long as this is done with an age-appropriate approach and method, the activity of educational robotics for us starts from pre-school! Dealing with robotics from an early age promotes engagement in many fields, particularly science (STEM). Mathematics, Physics, Programming, and Engineering are learning subjects with which children come into contact.
Specifically, in this course, the aim is for children to come into contact with various tools. The main educational package to be used is "Kids First Coding and Robotics", with the help of which young students become familiar with some of the most basic structures of programming and mathematical thinking, such as repetition, logical sequences, logical assumptions, patterns. Additional benefits for the teacher, who will proceed to the exploitation of such a package in his class, concern the development of important skills in his students. Such skills are encouraging of teamwork while enhancing communication skills, familiarity with research and problem-solving processes (analysis, design, implementation, testing and experimentation, evaluation), project management (time management, presentation of a solution meaningful to real life) , mental skills such as analytical and synthetic thinking, as well as creativity.
